The huge (yet simple) mistake I was making with my Youtube Videos 🤦🏾♂️

This week I want to tell you about a huge mistake I was making with my Youtube videos that I now see was holding my channel back.
So I've been on youtube since 2017 and since then we've garnered over 64,000 subscribers and over 15 million total views so it is safe to say we know what we are doing to an extent.
Recently, I ventured off to start my own education channel for my business content and personal development because I am building a separate audience who wants THAT specific content.
Well I'll be completly honest, starting from zero was and still is a humbling experience. I'm not used to seeing low views and a low subscriber count but hey, its about the grind right?
My first 30 videos got about 5000 views collectivly and while thats not terrible I know the content I am providing is better than that so I had to humble myself to see what I was doing wrong.
I watched a few of my favorite business creators and noticed something interesting in the first 30 seconds of all of their videos...
They never introduced themselves.
Now while that may seem silly, trust me it's not. If there title was about making an extra $10k a month soon as the video started that is what they said, they immiedtaly validated the title of the video (why I clicked on) and went into the "how" of the video.
It was something so simple yet I didn't do it in ANY of my educational videos. I was using the same old video technicques from my first channel (entertainment) and trying to apply them in a different genre of videos.
It's so simple but I missed it.
So now going forward I will be simply getting straight into the hook of the video and setting the stage on how I will be teaching the topic.
It's an experiment to see how different the views will be as a result of the change.
